Great North Run

Robert Rigby, our Trustee and Deputy Chairman, took part in The Great North Run on 20 September 2009. He finished in 1 hr 25 mins, came 247 out of 55,000 runners and raised £2,672 for The London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy. We are Robert’s designated charity during his Presidency of The City of London Circle 2009-2010.

We are delighted by Robert’s support! It is very special because our Trust is named after Robert’s late father, Peter, who founded our charity in 1963.

We do not have guaranteed places in The Great North Run. However, we are pleased to hear from runners who secure their own place and choose to run for us.
