Community events

We’d love to see you at any of our community events. Or you can organise something yourself.

It’s easy and fun and you can make all the difference to the lives of children with cerebral palsy.

Here are some ideas:

Fundraise your way

Your school, college, university or community group could make a huge difference to LCCCP and our amazing children.

Getting involved couldn’t be easier and whatever you chose to do, we will be there to help you every step of the way.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Hold a cake sale for pupils, staff, parents or friends
  • Organise your own event
  • Nominate LCCCP as your Charity of the Year
  • Organise a bucket collection or RAG raid
  • Volunteer with us
  • Take part in one of our challenge events
  • Hold a non-uniform day
  • Join or start a fundraising group

Start your fundraising group

Fundraising groups are run by people who use their passion, time and creativity to organise events to raise vital funds and awareness!

Whether you want to organise coffee mornings, golf days, dinner parties, open gardens, quiz nights, fancy dress parties, dance-a-thons, Christmas-tree festivals or something else, it’s easy to set up a fundraising group. All you need is enthusiasm, energy and the desire to help children with cerebral palsy and movement disorder.

Each group is different, but most groups meet up every month or so to plan fundraising events around their interests and to get their community together.

We’re here to help you
